Tonight I will be presenting on a digital image repository—the Lewis Hine Documentary Photography in the NYPL Digital Collections. When researching for the presentation, I came across information about the NYPL Digital Labs. The NYPL Digital Labs were formed to expand the role of the Digital Collections into digital humanities work, user collaboration, and open data. I’ve included links here and in handout to a couple of articles that describe some of the interesting projects coming out of Digital Labs with maps, menus, and even a stereogranimator.
